Race Amity Roundtables
In the spirit of unity, service, and education for peace, Riders for Race Amity (R4RA) invites you to host a Race Amity Roundtable — a community conversation that moves dialogue about race beyond blame or guilt, and toward understanding, friendship, and action.
What is a Race Amity Roundtable?
A Roundtable is a structured, youth- and adult-facilitated conversation that brings people together to share stories, listen deeply, and build empathy across lines of difference. These gatherings consistently transform participants’ perceptions of race and belonging, fostering a shared commitment to unity and justice.
Each Roundtable explores meaningful themes designed to spark insight and connection.
A few of the topics we offer include:
This module examines the process of exclusion, marginalization, and structural Iniquity(othering), in order to remediate and build a world based on inclusion, fairness, justice, and care for the Earth (belonging).

Our Race Amity Roundtables follow a warm, participatory format
1
Introduction
We begin with an introduction to Riders for Race Amity and why Race Amity is such an important framework for unity and healing.
2
Video Presentation
A short video introduces the chosen theme.
3
Reflection
Participants take five minutes to reflect quietly on what resonated or challenged them.
4
Small Group Dialogue
Participants then break into small groups of 5-7 people, each with a trained facilitator. Guided by reflection questions, the group explores insights from the video and discusses how to translate this knowledge into meaningful action.
5
Large Sharing Circle
We close by coming back together in shared dialogue - or, if preferred, youth and adults can meet in separate sessions to allow for deeper comfort and openness in discussion
